Description

Sildenafil citrate is the active component in Caverta 100 MG Tablet, which is informally also known as the "blue pill". It is primarily used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), which is also called impotence, in men. Erectile dysfunction is a condition where a man is unable to achieve and/or maintain a penile erection adequate enough for sexual intercourse. It happens when there is a decreased blood flow to the penis. The decreased blood flow may be due to physical complications following an injury or disease or due to some psychological conditions such as anxiety, stress, depression, etc. Chronic lifestyle factors such as obesity, smoking, drinking, etc., could also contribute to ED. ED is strongly age-related, and the occurrence of moderate-to-severe ED could increase two-fold to three-fold between the ages of 40 and 70 years. Caverta 100 MG Tablet relaxes the smooth muscles present in the wall of blood vessels and helps in increasing the flow of blood to the penis. It works well when the underlying cause of erectile dysfunction is physical, psychological, or both. 

How does Caverta 100 mg work?

Under normal circumstances, when a man is sexually stimulated, the sex fills up with blood. When erectile dysfunction occurs, enough blood does not stream to cause an erection. Caverta 100 mg, with Sildenafil citrate, relaxes the penile blood vessels when a man is sexually stimulated. This allows blood flow into the sex, resulting in an erection. The erection subsides after sex, just as it is supposed to in normal conditions.

Please understand that Caverta 100 mg is not a hormone or aphrodisiac, it works only when a man is sexually stimulated.

How to take?

The tablet should be washed down with plenty amount of water. Also it has to be stated that from the moment of taking the drug Caverta before the onset of the expected erection may take from 20 to 40 minutes. Caverta is effective for about five hours. In addition, it should be kept in mind that the effect of taking the drug may be decreased as a result of taking fatty and big amount foods. Therefore, when using such Sildenafil-containing drug as Caverta it is recommended to take food no later than 1-1.5 hours before the intended use of the drug and intimate course.

Warning and precaution:

• Caution needed when used in patients with anatomical deformation of penis or conditions that may predispose them to priapism i.e. painful persistent erection of the penis.Mild, transient, dose-related injury of colour discrimination (blue/green) may occur.
• May cause liver or severe kidney impairment, bleeding disorders, active peptic ulceration, low blood pressure, recent history of stroke, heart attack, abnormal heart rhythm, chest pain, heart failure, increased blood glucose or retinal disorders. 
• May cause sudden loss or decrease in hearing.

Dosage:

Note that even though the most commonly used dosage is 50 mg, 25 mg of the substance may be enough for you. caverta 100 mg is the best dose for oldepersons, those who are trying the drug for the first time, and patients with chronic diseases. Young and healthy people can gradually increase the dosage to 100 mg. This is the maximum allowable daily dose.

Side effects:

• Headache, flushing of the face, and upset stomach
• Temporary changes in color vision
• Eyes being more sensitive to light, or blurred eyesight
• Sudden decrease or loss of vision

How to storage?

Keep out of the reach and sight of seed. Do not store above 30 oC.Store in the original package, in order to protect from moisture. Do not use SILDENAFIL CITRATE after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or domestic waste.
